  • Planned Giving

By naming Arundel Rivers Federation as a beneficiary of your estate plans through a will, trust, retirement plan, or insurance policy, you leave a conservation legacy. For more information, please contact Matthew Johnston, Executive Director, at [email protected].

  • Gift of Stock

Would you like to make a donation of stock to Arundel Rivers? You can do so easily here. There are favorable tax rules for donors who want to donate long-term (stock owned for greater than one year).
Donors never have to pay capital gains on the appreciated stock. Donors get a deduction equal to the fair market value of the stock at the time the transfer (its increased value). No matter how large the donation, there is no need to obtain an appraisal.

For more information, please contact Matthew Johnston, Executive Director, at [email protected].

  • Qualified Charitable Distribution

If you’re 70 ½ or older, you can donate to Arundel Rivers Federation through your IRA Charitable Rollover (also called a Qualified Charitable Distribution) – and receive a tax benefit in return! For more information, please contact Matthew Johnston, Executive Director, at [email protected].

  • Matching Gifts

Here’s an easy way to double your donation: Many companies will match employee donations to a charity. If yours does (check with your HR department to find out), just get the necessary paperwork, and enclose it with your gift when you mail it to us.

Alternately, you may be asked to complete a form at the time you make your gift, and your HR department will handle the request. Check with your company to learn the proper procedure.

  • Honorary and Memorial Gifts

Celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary or honor the memory of a loved one with a gift to Arundel Rivers and in the process, support its year-round mission of protecting and restoring our rivers. To make an honorary gift, include the person’s name in the “In Honor/Memoriam” section of the donation page.

  • Event Sponsor

Show your support for our largest annual fundraiser, Arundel Rivers on the Half Shell, by becoming a sponsor. Sponsors receive special recognition via our sponsorship packages. This is a great way to directly support our work for the rivers. Check out our sponsor levels HERE.
