United Church of Christ

The Federation retrofitted a 1990s-era 6,000 sf grass-lined dry pond and swale adjacent to the parking lot of United Church of Christ in Edgewater. The site drains 1.17 acers of land into Church Creek, which was ranked as the most impaired Creek on the South River. This is a small project that is part of a larger effort involving more than a dozen restoration projects to restore Church Creek.
